Can anyone comment on the differences between the EDT and Extrait of No. 22. I ended up buying the No. I never liked the scent of the the edt only the lotion or the body cream. Me, scared of aldehydes? I don't find it particularly sweet, but it's so innocent, somehow, and heavily aldehydic (even though those two words don't seem like they should go together). When I put it on it's often for moments when I want a scent to relax with. . Quelques Fluers is the most soft and restrained, Bellogia is more impactful and very clove bud Absolute and Carnation, with lots of Tolu and Benzoin, while the bouquet of no. 22 is pumped up into a very intensely powdery variation upon the theme the aldehydes and heliotrope create a dense feeling with a very voluminous translucent silage of flowers and musk.. They,apparantly,don't use thier own noses. Which I didn't like, but hey, it was perfume, and I wore it.) I love how soothing it is. I only have vintage bottles so I dont know what it smells like now. If pearls had a scent, their lustrous smoothness would be redolent of No 22. Surprisingly, I didn't. Have you tried a recent version and do you consider it just as nice? I'm usually into woody perfumes and avoid florals like the plague but there is just something so enticing about this one.
