However, the rubber flapper in yours may be dried and shrunk such that it allows water past and thus drains out.

The problem with the system that Bender posted is that once the valve wears out then the livewell drain itself while running down the lake.

I know I had the same system on my Astro, originally. Also Can't pump out since the pump is only for in the live well.
depends on how it is rigged up.. i think every boat builder uses a differant riggin set up for that.. there is NO industry standard on live well plumbing..and there NEEDS to be.. Nitro, you shouldn't have to take it to the dealer. Anybody have the Live well pump and wiring Diagram for an Allison XB2003.
You can check with Ranger for the part or directly thru Flow-Rite.
Then unhook the cable and you can get the valve out to work on.

On my last boat one of the plastic fittings ended up with a crack. Their is a clamp that holds the outer cable coating when the cable pulls the lever back and forth. Paddle.

2) Add a cap full of sure life when you put your first fish in. Recommend Product. If you have a auto bilge pump maybe the water is being pump out from the bilge without you noticing.

The other thing to check is looking for hose and connecter leaks.

It also might be the wire cable from your dial control to the valve. What Im wondering is how to setup my pump out system or a diagram on how it should be to use it again since it must of broke sometime with the first owner and never hooked up again.
