Vancouvers Best Places is an online resource for tourists, locals and anybody who wants to know the best places to visit and whats going on in the Greater Vancouver region. For a public course , you cant ask for much more. This is one of Canadas top 50 courses and it is one of my favorites to play. The course is a par 71 with a total yardage of 6516 from its most difficult tees. As a visitor, I enjoyed the time inside the club restaurant more than the outside green. You may even see some animals. From its furthest tees, the par 72 course is 6800 yards long. Richmond Country Club is located at 9100 Steveston Highway in Richmond.
Located at 3500 Morgan Creek Way in Surrey, golfers get to admire stunning views of Mount Baker. The course features a mixture of short and long par 3s, as well as four par 4s with strategically placed hazards. The fairways are inviting with fewer trees than most, but the tall grass in some areas still presents challenges. The Westwood Plateau championship course is located at 3251 Plateau Boulevard on Coquitlams Eagle Mountain. There are so many different golf courses around the Vancouver area to pick from but just like anywhere else, some are a lot more fun than others. The front 9 puts players in contact with some relatively narrow fairways, mind, so accuracy plays an important factor. The scenery around the course is pretty good and its got good drainage, so you can play year-round. A unique course with Asian-influenced architecture, Pagoda Ridge includes a replica Great Wall of China and a Chinese Fighting Ship. The Morgan Creek Golf Course is a par 72 that spans 6955 yards long from its championship tees. Open 364 days most years, the course claims to stay dry and provide an enjoyable golfing experience throughout all four seasons. The holes are really short and the sprinklers create some nasty puddles. Along with this, returning players can choose to buy 20-round punch cards or monthly passes to save on frequent games. Big Sky is very pricey, but The Meadows is only ~$30 for admittance. The course itself is also well-suited to golf enthusiasts and novice or intermediate players. There are numerous, well groomed courses less than 20mins from the border, and even with the terrible exchange rates the fees are usually dirt cheap and include a power cart. I think youll have a blast at any of them so get out and give one a try. 6 Road in Richmond, Savage Creek is a new 15-hole executive golf course with six par 3s, eight par 4s and one par 5. This is another awesome golf course about 20 minutes outside the downtown area. Poppy Estate is a well-maintained executive golf course with nine par 3s, nine par 4s and some interesting elevation changes.

As you can see, Rain City has no shortage of great golf spots to choose from. Alternatively, the back 9 offers longer shots but is littered with sand traps here and there. At roughly 1,200, yards this course is relatively small but it makes up for it by being easy to walk through and maneuver around.
Northlands has an evening rate of $30 but you have to tee off around 6:30 or later usually.

Claiming to be the best golf destination in Langley, fairways are surrounded by intimidating trees and wonderful views of mountains. However they are undulating and pretty challenging. Swaneset Bay Resort has a pair of well-maintained championship courses with coastal mountain views. Terrific challenging layout and gorgeous scenery. The Links course at Swaneset is a par 72 that plays up to 7126 yards, whereas the Resort course is a par 72 that plays up to 700 yards. The course itself is bisected by University Blvd. While the course can be challenging for first-time players or beginners the management still encourages them all the same. The drainage is good on it as well so its available for most of the year. Ideally, parents can begin to introduce their children to golf around the same time they begin schooling which is around 5 to 6 years old. Another municipal course, Langara is a lovely, traditional-style course that dates back to 1926, when itwas originally built by the Canadian Pacific Railway. We think they have one of the best golf courses because they are open 364 days a year, their 72 course runs 6500 yards from the back tees, and have gently sloped four sets of tees for all players. Country Meadows is a pleasant 18-hole course thats welcoming to golfers of all kinds. 
They are surrounded by the West Coasts idyllic landscape and are an amazing 18-hole golf course.
