My helmet had many obvious scuff marks so I know I hit my head at least once. All customized items are personalized in our Plymouth, MA facility, and it looks like this item is currently out of stock in that location. It was a bad fall -- I had two impacts. There were strange bumps right near the temple region that put weird pressure points on my skull. The size chart exactly matched for the circumference above eyebrow to the farthest spot at the back of the head.

My current Charles Owen Ary8 is the best hat I've ever had, so when I saw they were doing a MIPS version and I was in sudden need after a fall (and concussion) I jumped on it. When I tried the next size up it was much too "deep" and covered my eyebrows completely making it feel like my eyelids were being pushed closed by the skin above my eye.
From breeches to blankets, if you or your horse can try it on, you can return it, free! Could have been so much worse.

For some reason though this helmet fits differently than their other helmets. Since the liners are replaceable, there is some ability to adjust the sizing of the helmet by selecting a different liner. I have never worn a helmet unless we are to count a hunt cap for showing.
